NDI has advanced system security services, training, risk assessment and security designs since 1985. We have worked with government, Healthcare financial institutions, corporations, the public sector and telecommunications to ensure safe and sound security practices to help improve the understanding of the Intruder AND help develop policy, assess risks and prescribe remedies...SOLUTIONS.

NDI introduced the 1987 Public Law Computer Security training working with Congress and a federal consortium. We introduced security engineering for the space and defense industry, worked with government and corporate professionals. NDI's list of clients, students and successful initiatives are impressive.

We developed the training program for the Air Force System Security Engineers, Navy, Army and the space and defense contractor communities. NDI introduced the Internet Security training in 1995 and conducted Certification courses for several NASA Centers and others. NDI presented the latest Hacker Phenomenon training to the Defense Legal Officers conference annually. We have conducted specialized IT security programs and special training programs for major corporations and organizations such as the National Security Agency, Air Force specialized units, the FBI and space and missile industry.

NDI pioneered many IT Security initiatives and progressively introduced new IT Security Dimensions. NDI presented security scanning software and hacker instructors years before the government and industry communities.

Security must enhance not inhibit project productivity and the distributed network. As the complexity of technology and threats have grown, NDI added new initiatives. We assess risk and design protections to prevent and correct weaknesses. The Security Practitioners course teaches "security engineers" how to improve IT security performance.

We work with topflight managers, technicians and bright practitioners and we enjoy working with visionaries in the computer security field and the 'hacker' community.

NDI resources have relied on the talents of consultant practitioners who are current in the ever changing fields in related technologies. Our regular staff has remained sufficient to insure continuity. We employ some of the best talent in the field for specific engagements. Many had their start with NDI. We introduced Chris Klaus and ISS, Winn Schwartau, se7en, Mudge, route and many others.

Applying exponential technology and its security challenges characterize our work. NDI emphasizes practical security designs and cost-effective project management by training and practical applications.

We developed the next generation of software designed to make systems secure that require substantial technical improvement. The design and core technology became the starting point for a bold applications product.
