This is a certification
series where certification is determined by three basic criteria: Written exam,
Years of service, Satisfactory completion of course practical exercises and
effective presentation before a review panel comprised of Health, Security and
Privacy Practitioners. The

The course materials
are drawn from several sources besides the HIPAA related documents and include
data from related federal documents as well as accomplished course material and
practical exercises drawn from the 17 years of NDI practical federal IT security
requirements training and program applications. The HIPAA training courses
objectives are: to prepare Officials to understand HIPAA Security and Privacy
requirements, understand the methodology to assess shortcomings and strengths
related to meeting HIPAA security and privacy standards, gain the ability to
perform technical skills and competency to apply these to Health Care and
affiliated environments. NDI prepared approved
security requirements documents for major programs and applied a unique software program
to federal mandates for 32 Space programs. Later, this program was enhanced to produce a
security software application and evaluation methodology designed to satisfy federal
standards. This software is also applied as an implementation methodology that will meet
HIPAA requirements, leverage existing software and procedures in an attractive cost
effective manner that will sharply reduce compliance costs and apply SOLUTIONS
to make systems secure. |
